Jillian Gunlicks and Megan Randall of Sioux Falls have always been entrepreneurs at heart, both working at and creating different businesses throughout the last two decades.
She invited her to experience one of her Lucia Light Sessions in exchange for hearing about Randall’s experience, and that conversation opened the door to something “much deeper.” “What followed was a powerful period of healing that Jillian and the Lucia Light Therapy supported me through—work that felt both personal and expansive,” said Randall. “As we journeyed together, we began to uncover a shared vision: to create a space that helps others move through their own experience of self care, healing, and transformation.” That vision became Alchemy House —a holistic space and specialty spa dedicated to providing wellness, relaxation, and transformative healing experiences.
In 2012, they were both working as a side hustle at a paint and sip store downtown as art teachers.
“We continued to know and work with each other off and on in the wedding industry, but were really only acquaintances,” recalled Randall. That all changed when they reconnected in January 2024 after a pivotal and spiritual trip Randall took to Peru. Shortly after she returned, Gunlicks felt a nudge to reach out.
