Print Technology Legend Print Technology required to successfully print our products
You will see the letters, S I L throughout the catalogue. S Sublimation – This means you need a sublimation printer, loaded with sublimation inks to print the item. Examples of Sublimation printers are certain Epson and Brother printers loaded with sublimation inks, and the Ricoh Sublimation printers. I Inkjet – This means that any standard inkjet / bubblejet / deskjet / gel printer can be used with the correct inkjet transfer paper. Please note that for best results we do not recommend using low quality, low cost inks. Rather use the standard inks for your printer. In general only products with a fabric base can be printed with an inkjet. L Laser – This means almost any colour laser printer or colour copier, with the requisite transfer paper can be used. D Direct to Film – This means you need a DTF printer for the process in which a graphic is printed onto a piece of DTF film with various colored inks applied to a porous surface (fabric, some leathers, some pleather, paper and paper products). WB Woodburning – This is done by applying a woodburning gel to a raw wood product by a use of a pre-cut stencil and burning the graphic into the wood with a heatgun. All the transfer printable products require a heat press. All the button badges need a button press. All the crystals require a crystal or sandblasting system. All the vinyl products require a vinyl cutter. Please contact us to enquire about purchasing the machines you need to use.
