Three Trails Taiko strives to become a better taiko players in mind, body, and spirit while sharing the traditions, culture and art of Kumi Daiko (performance taiko) and Japan with the surrounding communities.

This is an exciting opportunity for participants to earn the Brownie Dancer or Junior Musician badge in a 1- to 2-hour workshop. Taiko brings the arts of music and movement together as a full body, mind, and spirit creative experience. The workshop will include discussions on what taiko is, how it originated in Japanese history and how it is used today.We will learn how to handle our bodies and equipment safely, the basics in techniques and terminology used to learn and end the program with a small performance for family and friends!
