Hikes will begin at an easily accessible starting point relevant to where the hike is being held. Urban Hikes KC provides guided urban hikes in Downtown KCK, KCMO, Plaza, and Shawnee. While exploring the city, we see vibrant murals, interesting buildings, learn KC history and maybe even ride the Streetcar! Visit our website for a full description of our hikes. Cost: $19.01 per Girl Scout, adult, or sibling. Minimum $300 on weekdays / $350 on weekends. Please fill out this Google form and we’ll get back with you to coordinate a date for your hike or call (913) 229-6493. Weekdays or weekends are available with more availability on weekdays. Explore Kansas City on a fun and interactive 3-mile urban hike designed for Brownie or Junior Girl Scouts! Together we’ll wander through iconic areas of our city and create our own piece of outdoor-inspired art along the way. Brownies/Juniors will complete 4 of the 5 steps for the Outdoor Art Badges while learning a bit of KC history. Badge not included. Length: approx. 3 miles over 3 hours. The urban hike is designed to complete most of the steps for the entrepreneurship badge. Please complete steps 1 and 2 before the hike. We’ll take the streetcar, see colorful murals, talk to local business owners, and work on our business ideas at Hi Tides Coffee Shop.
