WORKWEAR

MASCOT WORKWEAR, A SUPPLIER OF INNOVATIVE AND LONG-LASTING WORKWEAR, IS INTEGRATING CIRCULARITY INTO ITS MANUFACTURING BY USING RECYCLED MATERIALS…

MASCOT® CUSTOMIZED workwear is light and comfortable like sportswear, innovative and durable like workwear and has the highest possible proportion of recycled materials. It is designed to be even lighter, even stronger, and to have even more stretch. High quality and durability are central to MASCOT CUSTOMIZED. MASCOT developed its range not only for tradespeople but in collaboration with A focus on high quality and durability

tradespeople to ensure it is truly tested to work. The range was developed to be extremely long-lasting and made from a high percentage of recycled materials, especially in the main material. With a considerable number of products, types and colours on offer, it’s possible to put together a personal look that is not only comfortable to work in throughout the day but also extremely strong, lightweight, hardwearing and water-repellent. Recycled material – a natural part of the process The production of workwear inevitably leaves an environmental footprint along the value chain. MASCOT is working on integrating circularity into the development and production of products by utilising recycled materials. Using recycled materials in its products reduces overall consumption and

reliance on new resources. By the end of 2025, MASCOT will phase out all use of virgin polyester and polyamide in every product. It is an ambitious decision, and MASCOT will be among the first in the industry to take this giant step. The MASCOT CUSTOMIZED range contains workwear made from recycled materials that have an extremely high wear resistance. It includes trousers and upper-body garments featuring primary material made from recycled polyamide, which comes from surplus materials from textile production. This does not mean that used clothes have been turned into new material. It is a case of surplus materials from the textile production process, such as face material, yarn and similar, being recycled into new fabric. All recycled materials are from certified sources, either Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) or the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Many of the products in the MASCOT
