ROOM2 HOMETEL BELFAST
DIESEL GENERATOR Lisburn-based PM POWER supplied and commissioned the standby diesel generator supporting life safety systems at the room2 hometel Belfast project. NETWORK
D&V Network Solutions Ltd assisted Haughey Electrical and Arup in the design of all building infrastructure for room2 Belfast’s IP, VoIP and security networks. The three contractors worked collaboratively to refine Arup’s initial designs for data, voice and security networks. D&V Network Solutions’ involvement spanned all cabling requirements across the project from source comms rooms to fibre backbone, including resilience and active switching and programming to deliver full IT/network coverage across WiFi, IT services, security and the client’s third-party vendors. From assisting in the full design of both passive and active installs, to full implementation of the designs to create a user- friendly network converging all networks on same platform, room2 Belfast was a high-profile project for the firm.
