It’s also designed to be re-used and re-entered, so even when the product is fixed up in the ceiling full of cables, you can simply open the front and get a few more cables in there. • The all-in-one galvanised steel body with easy opening and closing mechanism is designed to be opened effortlessly and, with two sizes available, the larger clamp can hold up to 30 x 1.5mm cables.
• The clamp can be mounted vertically or horizontally, making it ideal for wall and ceiling installations. It also takes a standard 6mm screw. • Featuring a strong pressed hinge, the clamp can be manipulated to stay in any position, making it convenient to hook cables on while you’re wiring. It then easily clips back into place. • As well as being fire resistant, in accordance with DIN 4102, it is also corrosion, chemical and solvent resistant, making it an extremely robust product. Complementing the Clamp4fire, Olympic Fixings also offers a fire-rated fixing. Fix4fire is a 6mm screw with no plug required. It can be fired straight into concrete, plasterboard and wood, providing a truly solid fixing for the cable containment system.
