Kuala Lumpur Engineering Science Fair 2024 MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC), Selangor 8 - 10 November 2024
MIGHT reaffirmed its commitment to advancing STEM education by actively participating in the Kuala Lumpur Engineering and Science Fair (KLESF) 2024. As a key partner and steering committee member alongside Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), MIGHT plays a vital role in connecting industry and academia to inspire young Malaysians in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. KLESF 2024 drew thousands of students, educators, policymakers, and industry leaders over its three-day run. The event was officially opened by Datuk Prof. Dr. Azlinda, Director General of Higher Education, and Puan Ida Semurni, Co- Chairman of KLESF 2025—both underscoring the importance of collaborative efforts in shaping a tech-savvy generation. MIGHT also stood out as a major exhibitor, working alongside key partners such as PETROSAINS, Dreamedge, Cybersecurity Malaysia, Permata Pintar, Apadilangit, and Aeronerve. Under the theme Future of Work, these collaborations gave students hands-on exposure to real-world innovations, helping them connect what they learn in school to future career paths. Beyond the event, KLESF helps build critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students, strengthens ties between education and industry, and supports the development of a high-tech talent pipeline. For industry partners, it’s also an opportunity to engage early with future- ready talent and contribute to Malaysia’s human capital development goals. With MIGHT’s continued leadership, KLESF remains a cornerstone of Malaysia’s STEM outreach, evolving each year to meet new challenges in the global tech landscape. Through initiatives like this, MIGHT continues to play a central role in developing a future-ready workforce and advancing Malaysia’s position in high-tech innovation.
