Technomart Malaysia - Scotland Space Go-Global Innovation Conference MIGHT Partnership Hub, Cyberjaya 13 February 2024
The Technomart Malaysia-Scotland 2024 brought together stakeholders from Scotland as part of the Scotland Space Go-Global Innovation Conference. The delegation from Scotland was led by Hajjah Kartina Osman, Senior Regional Trade Manager for Southeast Asia, Kevin Scullion from Scottish Development International (SDI), and representatives from 11 Scottish companies and universities. This programme marked the first mission of #Scottish Spaces to Malaysia, a collaboration involving MIGHT, the Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA), and Scottish Development International (SDI). Various players in the space industry, including universities and government agencies, attended the programme to foster collaboration between Malaysia and Scotland. More than 60 participants from Malaysia, including representatives from 6 government agencies, 12 companies, and 10 local universities, attended the programme, which featured parallel sessions covering different aspects of the space sector, including applications, operations, manufacturing, academia, and government.
