Technomart Malaysia - Navigating the Future Through Drone- Related Technologies (DroneTech) MIGHT Partnership Hub, Cyberjaya 11 June 2024

In a strategic effort to advance Malaysia’s drone technology ecosystem, TECHNOMART Malaysia - Navigating the Future Through Drone- Related Technologies (DroneTech) was organised in partnership with Collaborative Research in Engineering, Science & Technology (CREST), Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology & Innovation (MRANTI), and Sunway University. This initiative provided a dynamic platform for local industry players, researchers, and innovators to showcase their capabilities, engage in business matchings, and establish strategic and sustainable collaborations with key stakeholders. The programme aligns with national objectives to strengthen Malaysia’s position in high-tech industries, particularly in drone innovation and commercialisation.

Programme objectives:

• Fostering industry partnerships. • Showcasing local R&D & innovation.

• Highlighting cutting-edge drone technologies developed through Research & Development and Commercialisation & Innovation (RDCI) initiatives at CREST, MRANTI, and leading universities. • Promoting industry collaboration to enhance Malaysia’s high-tech sector, leveraging drone engineering, AI, and automation expertise for sustainable economic impact. • Expanding local capabilities in drone technology through international partnerships, such as the Turkish Drone SME Programme, to accelerate knowledge transfer and co-creation. • Supporting national drone development. The insights and outcomes from this programme will contribute to the Malaysia Drone Technology Action Plan 2022-2030 (MDTAP30).
