MIGHT Leads Strategic Push in Aerospace at Selangor Aviation Show Subang Skypark, Selangor 13 September 2024 MIGHT reinforced its commitment to advancing Malaysia’s aerospace industry by launching the Aerospace Innovation Report 2025 at the Selangor Aviation Show 2024. This landmark report is designed to evaluate the current state of the national aerospace ecosystem and provide strategic insights to align Malaysia’s capabilities with global standards, particularly in meeting the needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). A major highlight of the event was the signing of three strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between MIGHT and key industry stakeholders which is Aerospace Malaysia Innovation Centre (AMIC), National Aerospace Industry Corporation (NAICO), and Malaysian Aerospace Industry Association (MAIA). These MoUs signal a collective effort to drive innovation, close technological gaps, and propel Malaysia’s aerospace sector forward. The MoU exchange ceremony was witnessed by Puan Zanifa Azura Binti Ahmad, Chief Financial Officer of Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated, and Dato’ Hasan Azhari, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Selangor Berhad. Puan Ida Semurni, Chief Operating Officer of MIGHT, represented the organisation alongside key signatories: Dr Liew Karn Ern, CEO of Aerospace Malaysia Innovation Centre (AMIC), Professor Shamsul Kamar Abu Samah, CEO of National Aerospace Industry Corporation (NAICO), and En Naguib Mohd Nor, President of Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association (MAIA). MIGHT members including AMIC, UMW, SCS, and SIRIM participated the exhibition to explore the latest in aerospace innovation and cutting-edge technologies.
