From Malaysia to the UK: Advancing Innovation Through Leaders in Innovation Fellowships (LIF) MIGHT Partnership Hub, Cyberjaya | Oxford / London February – July 2024 Six Malaysian innovators were selected for the Leaders in Innovation Fellowships (LIF) programme, beginning with the In-Country event held in February. The training introduced them to Malaysia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, focusing on commercialisation, pitching, and local support structures. As part of the programme, MIGHT also hosted a 10-year anniversary reception to celebrate a decade of LIF’s impact bringing together alumni, partners, and supporters to strengthen the network and raise the programme’s profile. In July, the fellows continued their journey with a two-week residential training in the UK. They were exposed to the UK innovation ecosystem, met with international peers, mentors, and investors, and gained insights into scaling their solutions globally. The experience helped sharpen their ideas and expand their networks-pushing their innovations closer to market.
