Ts Anusha Magendram presented a paper titled “Promoting Integrated State & Local Government Planning and Implementation Towards Sustainable State & Cities: Melaka as a Case Study in Malaysia” at the Independent Evaluation Office (IEO), Evaluation Environment and Development (EED) Conference 2024. This conference focused on the increasing integration of evaluation practices across environmental, socioeconomic, and policy domains. The session was moderated by Mr Neeraj Negi from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Independent Evaluation Office. It featured four esteemed panellists: Olga Mrinska from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Sameer Saraswat from UNIDO (Jaipur), Aloke Barnwal from GEF, and Mariana Orloff from the World Resources Institute (WRI). Throughout the discussion, panellists provided insights from both macro and micro perspectives on programme implementation and assessment, sharing relevant case studies and lessons learned.
