Industry Engagement: Satellogic Inc. Satellite Final Assembly Line Facility in Uruguay - UzmaSAT-1

Ts Rushdi Abdul Rahim, President and CEO of MIGHT, participated in a Malaysian delegation visit to Satellogic’s satellite manufacturing facility in Montevideo, Uruguay, to explore deeper collaboration in space technology. The team observed the final assembly of UzmaSAT-1, a satellite set for launch in the fourth quarter of 2024 and discussed key developmental milestones with the experts at Satellogic. Following its launch, UzmaSAT-1 will integrate into Satellogic’s constellation of over 40 satellites, providing high-resolution Earth observation data with the capability for up to seven revisits per day. This partnership will significantly enhance the capabilities of Uzma’s subsidiary, Geospatial AI, enabling the development of innovative geospatial applications and the delivery of real-time insights across various sectors. This collaboration represents a significant advancement for Malaysia’s geospatial technology landscape.
