Global Innovation Summit (GIS) Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland UK 12 - 14 November 2024
MIGHT joined the 2024 Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) Annual Meeting and Global Innovation Summit (GIS) from 11-15 November in Belfast, Northern Ireland, hosted by Queen’s University Belfast and the Centrefor Competitiveness. The event brought together more than 300 global leaders to discuss “Accelerating Global Sustainability and Economic Inclusion.” Key topics included decarbonisation, place-based innovation, frontier markets, competitiveness, and geostrategy, emphasising the role of foresight, technology, and partnerships in building resilience. Ts Rushdi Abdul Rahim, President and CEO of MIGHT, moderated “Expanding Productivity Frontiers in the Digital Age,” while Mr Ahmad Razif Mohamad spoke on “Making Innovation Partnerships Work in Practice.”
