2024 underscored MIGHT’s commitment to nurturing and investing in Malaysia’s technology capabilities. Through focused programmes and strategic platforms, we connected innovation with talent, industry, and capital. The Kuala Lumpur Engineering Science Fair (KLESF) continued to ignite STEM interest among thousands of students nationwide. MIGHT plays a pivotal role in convening prominent stakeholders to advance Malaysia’s advanced materials industry, including REE, nitinol, graphene, and micro- crystalline cellulose. Through strategic coordination and ecosystem development, MIGHT fosters innovation, strengthens industry resilience, and positions Malaysia as a competitive hub to attract sustainable, high-value investments in critical material & green technologies. In 2024 alone, five Technomart Malaysia series were organised, spotlighting local R&D with strong commercial potential. Meanwhile, VentureTECH’s impact investments supported high-impact enterprises, generating quality jobs and strengthening Bumiputera participation in future-facing industries. Collectively, these efforts are building a resilient, inclusive innovation ecosystem for Malaysia.
