Visit by Korea Smart City Association & Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport of Korea MIGHT Partnership Hub, Cyberjaya 2 August 2024
MIGHT welcomed the Korean delegation led by Mr JungKyu Lee, Deputy Director at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The delegation included representatives from the Korea Smart City Association (KSCA) and the Advanced Institute of Convergence Technology, under Gyeonggi Province and Seoul National University. An engaging and productive discussion on Malaysia’s Smart City journey and various smart city programme initiatives was shared. The Korea Smart City Association (KSCA), a key World Smart City Expo co-organiser, invited MIGHT and the Malaysia Smart City Alliance (MSCA) to visit their Smart City Integration Platform and Changwon Hydrogen City. This visit has opened up opportunities for a business-matching programme between Malaysian and Korean smart city stakeholders. It marks the beginning of a promising collaboration, following the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) exchanged between MSCA and KSCA during Korea’s World Smart City Expo.
