About the GWO Safety & Training Forum
On October 7–8, GWO will host its annual Safety & Training Forum in Madrid, Spain. A must-attend event in the renewables industry's safety and training calendar, the Forum brings together global experts to address the sector’s most pressing workforce challenges — while laying the groundwork for innovation, growth, and collaboration among key stakeholders. This year’s Forum will host the Safety & Training Awards, recognising the exceptional training teams delivering GWO standards worldwide. Returning categories include Training Team of the Year, Instructor of the Year, and Young Achiever. At the 2024 edition in the U.S., more than 52 global training providers and representatives from leading GWO member companies — including Vestas, Acciona, RWE, Corio, GE Vernova, and Nordex — took part. The Forum remains a focused and influential gathering, designed for those shaping the future of workforce safety and skills in the renewables sector.
