MicroZyme Slurry Improver MicroZyme is a biological product which reduces solids and controls odour of waste stored in lagoons and other holding pits. This product should be used as part of a complete waste management program. MicroZyme contains a unique formulation of naturally occurring viable bacteria and microbial enzymes, together with surfactants and oxygenating components. This formulation accelerates the aerobic degradation of manure and urine produced during intensive livestock housing. The bacteria and enzyme cocktail in MicroZyme speed up the degradation of manure solids during storage. This action reduces or prevents crust formation resulting in reduced odour production and increased nitrogen retention. Treated manure has a greater fertilizer value when subsequently applied to the land.

ENGINE DRIVEN PUMP UNITS Tramspread engine driven pumps can be made to individual requirements and specifications. Options include Bauer, Doda or Cri-man pump, new or used engine, radio or GSM remote control, return to store, flowmeters and pressure sensors. Skid Mounted EDPU This powerful pump unit couples a six-cylinder diesel engine to a Bauer SX2000 slurry pump with 6” inlet and 4” outlet. Priming is via a Honda powered Bauer vacuum pump. It has a 376-litre fuel tank, SIL engine control panel and work lights. All mounted on a robust skid frame with fork tine and/or 3-point linkage. 50k EDPU This pump unit uses the same powerplant and Bauer SX2000 slurry pump as the Skid Mounted unit. It also has a 376-litre fuel tank, SIL engine control panel, work, and road lights. Again, priming is via a Honda powered Bauer vacuum pump. It is mounted on a robust chassis with a braked and sprung axle and 50 km/h wheels and tyres. 50k EDPU with Compressor This Engine Drive Pump Unit offers the same specification as the above EDPU with an added new or used compressor. Fast Tow EDPU Using the same engine and pump combination as our other EDPU pumps this braked fast tow model also offers a braked coupling with a 50mm lockable head. It runs on four 185 R14 wheels and tires under a galvanized chassis and is well suited to users needing to travel longer distances. Contractor Trailer Mounted to the rear of the 9.1m long trailer is a skid unit equipped with the same pump, powerplant and priming system as our other Engine Drive Pump Units. Up to 2,000m of drag hose is carried on twoTramspread galvanised detachable spools located at the front of the trailer. Over the twin sprung high speed axles there is a large 900 litre fuel tank, over which is mounted a compressor and a load area with two large toolboxes. Air brakes and a suction hose transpor t area complete this comprehensive contracting work horse.

The SM540 tractor driven slurry pump is a cost-effective option and is suited to transfer work and small umbilical systems. It has similar characteristics as the SX1000 but lower output and power requirement whilst retaining the same engineering quality. It has a minimum power requirement of 150hp and is supplied complete with hydraulic primer or optional auto primer, six-inch inlet, four-inch outlet with gate valve and compressor coupling. All mounted on a heavy duty three-point linkage galvanised frame with a heavy-duty PTO shaft.

Bauer couplings provide a quick and straightforward solution to joining many lengths of hose together.These couplings are primarily used in the agricultural, construction and water processing industries to convey a wide range of fluids including chemicals, sewage, slurry, and water.To make a connection, the male Bauer is placed into the female and is then secured with a lever closure ring making for quick and easy hose assembly. Storz Storz couplings have an identical locking head with no separate male or female halves.The locking head is comprised of two lugs and comes equipped with serrated hose tails, female BSPP, male BSPP or blanking caps on the reverse side.These couplings have a maximum working pressure of 16 Bar (232 psi) and are available in a range of materials including aluminium alloy, brass or stainless steel. Storz couplings are secured together with an identically sized fitting that has the same lug dimension (sometimes referred to as the Ka distance in millimetres). HOSE REELERS Tramspread reelers have been developed to meet the demanding needs of our contracting business.We offer mounted, trailed, and fast tow trailed reelers in a variety of specifications. All of our reelers have been designed to be heavy duty, yet easy to use. MOUNTED RANDOMWRAP REELERS Tramspread 1000m and 600m random wrap hose reelers are designed for use with front or rear tractor linkage. The 600m version has a galvanised detachable spool which is easily and quickly removed from the heavy duty and robust carrying frame by removing two securing pins, lowering the reel to the ground, and moving away. One frame can serve several spools.The spool is rotated by a heavy-duty motor and gear drive powered hydraulically from the tractor, giving a positive and controlled recovery, and laying out of the hose with no over-run. A large trough in the centre of the spool is used for easy loading of drag hose and couplings. The 1000m version has all the features of the 600m and in addition, has TWIN hydraulic drive to give increased power to hose recovery which allows longer lengths of drag hose to be recovered at any one time.There are two tool boxes, one on each side, to provide easy storage.This reeler can comfor tably hold up to either 1000m of 4-inch hose, 1000m of 5-inch hose, 600m of 6-inch hose or a mixture of when using the easily attached par titions. TRAMSPREAD TRAILED SEGMENTED REELER Trailed segmented reelers are available in 1600m and 2000m capacity with galvanised spool andTWIN hydraulic motors for extra reeling power.They can be operated from both tractor and reeler to allow controlled recovery and laying out with no overflow. Tramspread Trailed Random Hose Reeler This reeler has the capacity to hold either 2000m x 6”, 2400m x 5” or 2800m x 4” hose on a galvanised open spool. It has a hydraulically pivoting drawbar to send the hose left and right across the spool when reeling in. Again,TWIN hydraulic motors give extra reeling power.

Tramspread ‘Wagtail’ Hose Humper The Tramspread ‘Wagtail’ hose humper pivots to both left and right, which enables more accurate hose placing outside tramlines which reduces pipe wear. The mechanism reduces damage to the crop when spreading because the operator does not have to leave the tramlines when moving the hose. The option to move the hose either side of the tractor also helps the operator to avoid obstacles more easily. The hydraulic offset and raising the wheel into the transport position, is controlled from the tractors spool valve. When raised it also leaves the tractor pickup hitch available for other implements such as trailed hose realer or pump trailer. A breaking mechanism allows for the wheel to spin freely or be locked in position. By choosing to use theWagtail, operators can reduce stress on pipe and couplings, which in turn risks the of leaks and spills. COW HORN The Cow Horn as it’s affectionately known, is for dragging the supply hose at 90 degrees from the applicator without restricting the flow of slurry. Available in 4-inch, 5-inch or 6-inch diameters with couplings of your choice, the cow horn is a firm favourite with farmers in the UK.The sturdy frame is light, durable, and long lasting making it a useful addition to any umbilical spreading kit.

METERING MONITORING & MAPPING

Slurry is often considered a problem for many farmers. However, if managed effectively it can be a cost-effective natural fer tiliser that can help save on costly inputs. Metering the flow, monitoring the application and of course testing the slurry for nutrient value is an impor tant part of the wider process of applying valuable slurry to the crop.

The Krohne Optiflux is the first step in flow monitoring. It can be fitted in the pipeline either close to the pump or on the applicator. It has two totalisers which can be reset and shows the flow rate, normally in cubic metres per hour. Slurry Monitors We can offer various options to monitor the flow of slurry through a flow meter : A simple cost-effective entry level in cab slurry monitor which displays actual flow rate and total volume spread. A mid range monitor aimed at contractors because it can hold individual customer details. It displays flow rate (cubic metres per hour), application rate, forward speed, area covered, and the time and date of application. It is also backed up with software to enable the easy download of application data. Tramspread Isobus Raven Box – the top of the range option enables the flowmeter to be connected to the tractor’s Isobus system so the operator can read and download information from the tractor’s screen.When GPS is fitted to the tractor, full field mapping, which shows application and slurry coverage, can be stored onto a memory stick, and downloaded onto the office computer. Slurry Testing Kit An Agros Nova liquid manure testing kit offers laboratory test quality results.The nutrient value of the slurry in conjunction with the speed of flow can then be used to ascertain the amount of N applied per acre. It also measures dry matter and phosphorus. It is quick and easy to use and will offer accurate results using dry or wet slurry samples. The test takes five minutes and the result given in an easily understood format. Each kit contains the necessary chemicals for between 30 and 50 tests and replacement chemicals are available at a very reasonable price. All the equipment is contained in a strong carry case with full instructions.

SLURRY STORES BAG TANKS Dutch company Albers Alligator has been manufacturing bag tanks for more than 35 years. These tanks represent a cost-effective and flexible solution to contain slurry in small and large volumes. Bag tanks range in size from 200 cubic metres to 7,000 cubic metres and can be located on any soil type as only a shallow foundation is needed.The tanks have integral hydraulic or electric stirrers, fill/empty pipes and are self-venting so relatively little management or farmer involvement is needed. STALKAMP The Stallkamp stainless-steel tank is created in a segment-like design from profile-reinforced stainless steel shell plates on a concrete base plate.The stainless steel will not suffer corrosion as quickly as other steel alternatives and represents a practical long- term investment. The upper tank edge is constructed from an extra-rigid edge profile. The shell plates are joined together and sealed with the concrete slab using a manure and wastewater-proof special sealant.The connection of the tank wall to the base plate is made by a circular stainless steel floor bracket, which is fastened with bolt anchors.

Filling and emptying pipes and valves can be designed to your requirements alongside other options which include mixers, gantries, and an Agri-Cover roof. NURSE BAGS Albers Alligator manufactures Winbag, a portable bag tank.These smaller bag tanks range from 100 cubic metres to 350 cubic metres and are typically used as overflow storage but can be used as a temporary and portable solution requiring only a level, smooth site. A reeling device calledWinsystem rolls the whole bag on to a trailer and will unreel it in another location. The ability to take these bags almost anywhere on the farm, unreel and fill, offers a solution for difficult to reach fields. The bags can be remotely situated, tanker filled, or pumped to, and emptied when the slurry is needed.

STALLKAMP SLURRY SEPARATORS As a manufacturer of high performance separators, Stallkamp separators are best suited to separate a medium into its solid and liquid fractions.The medium to be separated is located in the screen basket.The liquid par t goes through the screen, whereas the solid part is caught by the screen.This screen is permanently cleaned by a plated stainless steel press screw, which conveys the solid material to the outlet building up a plug. OUR SERVICES Tramspread offers a wide variety of services to help farmers and contractors with slurry and digestate application. Our years of contracting experience and our close links with OEMs mean we always have a wide variety of machinery and equipment available to hire. Tramspread Contracting Ltd are equipped with the latest specialised slurry handling equipment including Tramspread’s 24m, 18m, 16m & 12m dribble bars, using the latest Vogelsang ECQ Macerator Distributor and slurry monitoring systems. Our fleet of six umbilical systems are available for applying slurries to crops and land. No job is too large or small so please contact us for more information.
