HOSE REELERS Tramspread reelers have been developed to meet the demanding needs of our contracting business.We offer mounted, trailed, and fast tow trailed reelers in a variety of specifications. All of our reelers have been designed to be heavy duty, yet easy to use. MOUNTED RANDOMWRAP REELERS Tramspread 1000m and 600m random wrap hose reelers are designed for use with front or rear tractor linkage. The 600m version has a galvanised detachable spool which is easily and quickly removed from the heavy duty and robust carrying frame by removing two securing pins, lowering the reel to the ground, and moving away. One frame can serve several spools.The spool is rotated by a heavy-duty motor and gear drive powered hydraulically from the tractor, giving a positive and controlled recovery, and laying out of the hose with no over-run. A large trough in the centre of the spool is used for easy loading of drag hose and couplings. The 1000m version has all the features of the 600m and in addition, has TWIN hydraulic drive to give increased power to hose recovery which allows longer lengths of drag hose to be recovered at any one time.There are two tool boxes, one on each side, to provide easy storage.This reeler can comfor tably hold up to either 1000m of 4-inch hose, 1000m of 5-inch hose, 600m of 6-inch hose or a mixture of when using the easily attached par titions. TRAMSPREAD TRAILED SEGMENTED REELER Trailed segmented reelers are available in 1600m and 2000m capacity with galvanised spool andTWIN hydraulic motors for extra reeling power.They can be operated from both tractor and reeler to allow controlled recovery and laying out with no overflow. Tramspread Trailed Random Hose Reeler This reeler has the capacity to hold either 2000m x 6”, 2400m x 5” or 2800m x 4” hose on a galvanised open spool. It has a hydraulically pivoting drawbar to send the hose left and right across the spool when reeling in. Again,TWIN hydraulic motors give extra reeling power.

Tramspread ‘Wagtail’ Hose Humper The Tramspread ‘Wagtail’ hose humper pivots to both left and right, which enables more accurate hose placing outside tramlines which reduces pipe wear. The mechanism reduces damage to the crop when spreading because the operator does not have to leave the tramlines when moving the hose. The option to move the hose either side of the tractor also helps the operator to avoid obstacles more easily. The hydraulic offset and raising the wheel into the transport position, is controlled from the tractors spool valve. When raised it also leaves the tractor pickup hitch available for other implements such as trailed hose realer or pump trailer. A breaking mechanism allows for the wheel to spin freely or be locked in position. By choosing to use theWagtail, operators can reduce stress on pipe and couplings, which in turn risks the of leaks and spills. COW HORN The Cow Horn as it’s affectionately known, is for dragging the supply hose at 90 degrees from the applicator without restricting the flow of slurry. Available in 4-inch, 5-inch or 6-inch diameters with couplings of your choice, the cow horn is a firm favourite with farmers in the UK.The sturdy frame is light, durable, and long lasting making it a useful addition to any umbilical spreading kit.
