2025 GMF Annual Impact Report

The Big Boom, our annual Fourth of July celebration, was bigger and brighter this year. As part of our effort to reimagine public events beyond equestrian programming, the festival showcased what Great Meadow can be for Fauquier County and the region: a welcoming home for community gatherings of every size. More vendors and more entertainment created an all-day experience, including a petting zoo, a rock climbing wall, a family fun zone, a Meadow Bar , delicious food trucks, and local merchants. More than 10,000 guests filled the grounds, visitors watched awe-inspiring model rocket launches and Flying Circus Air Show, and the evening closed with a spectacular fireworks finale that lit up the sky. We are already looking ahead to 2026, when the nation marks 250 years of American independence. Get ready for an even better Big Boom, with more features and a star- spangled celebration like no other!

The Veterans Cup returned as a purpose- driven polo showcase, uniting military families, veterans, and fans for a day of sport and gratitude. Competitive matches and on-site engagement with veteran organizations turned the field into a platform for impact. Most importantly, the Cup’s charitable impact is powering our mission to give back to those who serve. Through ticket sales, direct donations, hospitality and sponsorships, we raised funds for No Greater Sacrifice, The HOW Foundation, and The Station Foundation. Building on this momentum, Veterans Cup will grow in 2026 with added programming, deeper charitable partnerships, and more ways for guests and sponsors to give.
