POLO GOES GLOBAL New in 2026, the inaugural Four Nations Cup will debut as a high-powered international tournament that showcases the sport’s iconic style and heritage. With Washington, D.C. next door, we are tapping into the international spirit of our region to cultivate friendly competition on the field and strenghten global ties across policy, cultural and business communities. The tournament will stand as a marquee event for Great Meadow and is sure to become a rallying point for sport, culture, and diplomacy in the Piedmont.

Great Meadow’s Summer Solstice Dinner, Saturday, June 20, will celebrate long light and local bounty. Guests will gather on the lawn for a farm to table feast featuring the best of Fauquier and the Piedmont from growers, vintners, and artisans. Great Meadow is pursuing official Dark Sky certification to protect and celebrate the night sky as part of our conservation mission. This effort includes responsible outdoor lighting, community education, and night-friendly event operations. By safeguarding the dark, we protect habitat, enhance scientific and educational programs, and ensure that future generations can experience views of the Meadow’s skies in their natural brilliance TURNING DOWN THE LIGHTS
