START Second, we organize locally to build power. Across Texas, our county lead organizers connect with recently released members, offer peer support, share reentry resources, and coordinate mutual aid. They also lead local advocacy efforts. Sylvia Rice was initially anxious about her upcoming release date because she's been in the prison system for The numbers are shocking. More women are in prison than ever before. EWOP exists because there is a pressing need to address the unique challenges these women face after they are released from prison. FRESH decades. But she said the reentry program is teaching her skills needed to secure a job.

When I first got locked up, I was angry with everyone but myself. I was angry with law enforcement I was angry with the court appointed attorney. Everyone was to blame but myself. Because of this attitude I stayed in agg. It took GOD to come and touch my heart than only, then was I able to accept account for the stretch I had todo. During the time I was locked up I grew a TRUE relationship with CHRIST the Son of the living GOD… IM CONVERTED
