Hometown Christmas Tree Lighting Feel the Christmas spirit come alive as Pearland Parks & Recreation hosts the City’s annual Hometown Christmas Tree Lighting. Join us for an evening of holiday entertainment, fireworks, live music, lights, strolling entertainment, great food and more! Friday, December 2 Free All ages IND Park Hometown Christmas Parade The City of Pearland is excited to host its 40th annual Hometown Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 3, beginning at 6 p.m. The evening parade brings out dozens of floats and walking groups decked out in lights and holiday spirit. Spectators will see marching drill teams, unique classic cars, dazzling floats and so much more! To help ring in the season, we invite YOU to join us as a participant in the parade! Applications will open on Tuesday, August 2. Don’t wait--space is limited, and groups will be reviewed and approved on a first-come, first-served basis. The entry fee is $25 per unit or group. Festival of Lights All month-long, join us for a spectacular holiday experience like nothing else of its kind. Towering and beautifully lit ‘lands’
will immerse you in Candyland, Pearland, Texas-Land and more. This free experience will bring holiday magic and fun to the whole family. Festival of Lights is presented by the City of Pearland, in partnership with Second Baptist Church – Pearland Campus. Nightly, December 3 – 23 / 6 – 9 p.m. Free All ages IND Park Tour De Lites
Join us for the 29th annual Tour De Lites bike ride at Independence Park on Saturday, December 10, hosted by the Forever Parks Foundation of Pearland and
Pearland Parks & Recreation. This family-friendly bicycle ride begins at Independence Park and tours Pearland’s Green Tee Terrace community. Saturday, December 10 / 4:30 – 8 p.m. Free All ages IND Park
