YOUTH BASKETBALL The City of Pearland Parks & Recreation invites all youth basketball players to sign up for our winter recreational youth basketball league. Our league is the premier youth basketball league for boys and girls ages 7 - 14. This league is designed to teach teamwork and the fundamentals of basketball while kids have fun in a safe environment. All players will receive a basketball jersey. The season consists of one practice per week with a seven-week game schedule and a single elimination playoff for the top four teams in each division with the exception of the age 8 and under division. Practices: Once per week, weeknights; practices begin the week of January 3 – 6 Games: Saturdays, January 7 – February 25 $90 resident / $112.50 nonresident 7 – 14 years Pearland ISD gyms & RCN CRICKET HEROES The City of Pearland has partnered with USA Cricket to offer a fun, educational and thrilling cricket program for all youth and abilities. The Cricket Heroes program will be led by USA Cricket staff and will teach the basics of cricket including batting, bowling, fielding and much more! ADULT RECREATIONAL SOFTBALL LEAGUES Adult softball leagues open to players 18 and older are offered at the Centennial Softball Fields. Registration fees include six weeks of gameplay, plus a single- elimination playoff for the top four teams, and an award for first place. Game schedule, softball scores, league standings and blank rosters can be obtained from our website teamsideline.com/pearland . Registration is done at the Welcome Center or online at pearlandparks. com and is first-come, first-served. Teams must pay in full to register.
Men’s Recreational: Monday nights Coed Recreational: Monday nights $235 per team + $80 forfeit deposit Teams must pay umpires $20 cash at home plate per game 18+ years CEN Softball Fields
