Keep up-to-date with the organisation’s current news through their LinkedIn or socials. This can provide some good pointers. When you speak to the company, try to show how you can provide immediate
value to the company in terms of your experience and skillset. Make sure that your message is concise and informative.
Be prepared for employers to ask for your CV after you’ve given your pitch and then to ask you questions about what you have listed on your resume. Practice your pitch until it sounds natural, not rehearsed.
