To be considered for funding, student project proposals shall include the following: • Description of how the project supports and/or benefits all CWU students and the University. • Implementation timeline and Department sponsor. Students are required to have a CWU employee sponsor/advisor. • Anticipated environmental and sustainability-related benefits of the proposed project. Additional criteria include: • One-time funding only (no ongoing or annual expenses) • Project proposals that incorporate social, environmental, and economic aspects of sustainability will be given priority. • Pilot project proposals and/or new campus initiatives are highly encouraged. The CWU Student Green Fund will: • Equip students with hands-on project management and leadership experience. • Support the implementation of CWU’s Climate Action Plan while reducing pollution, waste, and negative impacts on the local environment.
