Surveillance Equipment Auto-Wares Group will have video equipment in various locations and in vehicles. Surveillance will be conducted at any time for Company enhancement of procedures as well as for the safety of our employees. Improper procedures, actions, and violations will be subject to disciplinary action that could result in discharge. Parking and Entrances All employees are assigned a parking location. All employees must use the designated entrance when entering or leaving the building. All employees should check with their supervisors for exact parking and entrance locations. Substance Abuse and Testing Policy All prospective employees are required to take a drug test. If the individual’s test results are positive, he or she will not be considered for employment. Substance abuse testing may be required immediately following a vehicle accident while working or in the event of a job-related injury requiring treatment at a medical facility. The determination of whether testing is necessary will be made by Human Resources or Loss Prevention. Auto-Wares Group strictly prohibits the possession, use, sale, and distribution of alcohol, illegal drugs, or other controlled substances during work hours or on Company premises. Employees cannot report to work in an “unfit” condition as defined by Auto-Wares Group’s owners and management. “Unfit” will include, but will not be limited to, any suspected use of the above as indicated by odor of same on employee’s breath, a wobbly or unsteady gait or walk, dilated pupils, slurred speech, or the inability to perform your regular work assignments. If there is reasonable suspicion that an individual is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or dealing drugs, he or she will be required to take a drug test and alcohol test. Note: Taking another person’s prescription drug for whatever reason could indicate a positive test result. Auto-Wares Group may prohibit the use, possession, sale, or distribution of alcohol, illegal drugs, or other controlled substances during off duty hours where such events may adversely affect Auto-Wares Group’s reputation, or where the employee is then convicted as a result of the use, distribution, or sale of same. Further, Auto-Wares Group has the right to inspect on demand employees’ lockers, purses, wallets, packages, automobiles, or other items and containers in connection with the investigation of the suspected use or sale of drugs or alcohol of any kind. Auto-Wares Group has the right and may demand that all employees cooperate in such an investigation.
