National Payroll Week is dedicated to celebrating the hard work that payroll professionals do every day, and the contributions and difference they make to the economy through the collection of income tax and National Insurance – equating to almost half of the taxes collected by the UK government. A job often taken for granted; payroll professionals ensure that employees across the UK are paid accurately and on time, ensuring that their business, and UK business as a whole, keep running smoothly.
