Hieronymus Bosch was a Dutch/Netherlandish painter from Brabant. He is one of the most notable representatives of the Early Netherlandish painting school. His work, generally oil on oak wood, mainly contains fantastic illustrations of religious concepts and narratives. I saw his first painting, “The Garden of Earthly Delights” at the Prado Museum in Madrid when I was 17 years old. 70 years later, I’m still fascinated.

Hieronymus Bosch, (conocido en el mundo Hispano como “EL BOSCO”), fué un pintor holandés nacido en Brabant. Es uno de los más notables representantes de la Vieja Escuela de Pintura Holandesa. Sus obras, generalmente óleos sobre madera de roble, contienen fantásticas ilustraciones muchas con conceptos religiosos y narrativos. Yo ví su primera pintura titulada “El Jardín de las Delicias ” en el Museo del Prado en Madrid cuando yo tenía 17 años. 70 años más tarde, sigo fascinado.
