Communication Makes a Difference
I made the shift into law after I spent six years working in law enforcement in the Tampa Bay area. I had gotten hurt, and I thought a career change was in my best interest, so I decided to pursue a legal career. I knew I wanted to continue helping people, and law, especially personal injury law, just made sense. Having a background in law enforcement has been a great asset. During those six years, I investigated a number of crashes and had seen many situations that my clients today have gone through. When you see accidents firsthand and work through that process, you gain a different perspective on those situations. It’s not a perspective a lot of attorneys have. In building Franchi Injury Law, I’ve worked hard to give our clients a lot they won’t find at any other law firm. For me, one of the most important things is the feeling of family. You shouldn’t be “just another case.” I’m here to listen to your story and be by your side when you need someone to help you through your emotions. The idea of treating clients like family might not seem like a big deal, but when you’ve gone through a traumatic event, it makes a huge difference in people’s lives. Another big thing that sets us apart from other law firms is our dedication to communicating with our clients. Lack of communication is one of the biggest reasons why people fire their attorneys. People don’t like to be left in the dark wondering what is going on with their case. It’s also incredibly frustrating when you call your attorney with questions only for them to not answer or return your call in a timely fashion, if they even return it at all.

Recently, I called a client to go over a small piece of information related to his case. I called him on my lunch break, which happened to be when he was busy with work. He called me back a little later and left a message on my phone, saying “If you can call me after 5:30 p.m. or shoot me a text, I’d appreciate it.” I sent him a text then and there. He got the information he needed right away, and he didn’t have to worry about connecting with me later in the day.
