Our activities
Our recycling and scrap processing facilities ensure that used automobiles, appliances and other obsolete scrap steel is redirected away from landfills and used to make brand new steel in our local mills. Our dual-module direct reduction plant uses the Midrex ® technology to transform iron ore pellets into high-quality direct reduced iron, ready to be melted in our steelworks.
Our two wire mills manufacture drawn wire from our own steel for a variety of uses such as cold heading, clothes hangers, springs, wire mesh, galvanized fencing, etc. Our facilities are supported by an extended network of technical experts, sales specialists and support staff, all rallying behind a single objective: customer satisfaction and quick answers to your questions.
Our three electric arc furnaces are at the heart of the steelmaking process at our two steelworks , producing various grades of billets and slabs to meet our clients' needs. With two bar rolling mills and a wire rod mill, we offer a wide range of products for the automotive, construction, welding and service center markets.
