Root Supported Partial Denture/Overdenture The overdenture attachment selection is often driven many times by the amount of restorative space available. If the patient presents with the opportunity to preserve natural teeth as part of the alveolar ridge, these root form attachments may serve as an excellent source of anchorage for the overdenture. Equally important is that root form attachments generally require the least amount restorative space of all other overdenture attachments. Sterngold offers several resilient and non-resilient root form attachments, including the ERA ® Overdenture and ERA ® Direct Overdenture options, based on the popular ERA ® technology.
