Despite the cold temperatures that come every winter, there are still plenty of fun activities to do in Boise this holiday season!

Tuba Christmas Boise’s Tuba Christmas has been an ongoing community gathering of tuba and euphonium musicians since 1992. Members of this ensemble include student musicians from local high schools, middle schools, and colleges/universities as well as adult musicians from a variety of professions. It is truly a Boise tradition! On Dec. 3, you can attend the free, public performance. If you would like to participate, grab your tuba, chair, and music stands and register for only $10 at the Boise State University Department of Music by 1 p.m. Harry Potter Yule Ball For all you Harry Potter fans, come experience the Yule Ball straight of out the pages! On Dec. 13, you can arrive at 5:30 p.m. in your best dress robes or ball gowns and browse local vendors selling magical merchandise. At 6 p.m., enjoy a catered dinner as
There will be many photo opportunities to capture magical memories, and a costume contest will be held with prizes for the best dressed. This will be a night of wizarding wonder you won’t forget!
