Ricciardi, MS, JD, president of Altapure, said of the onset of the pandemic. “The COVID-19 arrival is just more evidence that the decline of useful antibiotics and the

rise of multi-drug resistant [pathogens] have put the American population at risk.” Altapure’s process reaches all exposed surfaces for disinfection, eliminating coronavirus, and the company cites the following reasons, among others, that PAA cleaning agents are most effective to kill COVID-19. The coverage reaches the entire room, no remaining virus particles are left to spread after treatment, and the treatment is not impacted by temperature, humidity, distance or light shadowing. “We believe that the COVID pandemic is a wake-up call to the fact that the world needs to do more to eliminate bio burden and to use technology to make the workplace safer for all,” said Ricciardi. Using its ultrasonic technology, Altapure was also able to reprocess N95 masks, a feat worthy of distinction in two peer- reviewed papers. Altapure was named one of the best infection prevention products by Newsweek in May and appeared on-air for local news affiliates, showcasing their pandemic-strength cleaning solutions.

Unique products like these need a unique space in which to perfect all of the elements and machinery, and that’s where St. John Properties comes in. Because all Altapure products are designed and prototyped at the company’s Mequon, Wisconsin, facility, the company required a “clean” manufacturing and design space to increase workflow and productivity. “The St. John folks and [in] particular, the regional partner, worked with Altapure to create an environment that allowed for the efficient design and [assembly] of products requiring a clean work environment,” explained Ricciardi. “The facility was delivered on time as promised.” The Wisconsin regional partner for St. John Properties received high praise in particular for flexibility and service. “The regional partner was a pleasure to work with and he assured us that St. John would be responsive to our present and future needs,” Ricciardi said. “He has fulfilled his promise and we at Altapure are pleased with our decision to join the St. John team.”
