About the Award Dr. David Chitharanjan, Emeritus Professor of Chemistry who passed away this past year, was instrumental in starting the Clinical Laboratory Science program at UWSP. He taught many of our current Clinical Laboratory Science faculty when they were students. Dr. Chitharanjan honors students of exceptional academic ability with this award. Logan is a clinical laboratory science major who plans to work as a medical laboratory scientist in a hospital or clinic setting. He has volunteered for six years as a Big Brother, Big Sister mentor and was awarded "School Based Big of the Year." Logan enjoys running, biking, and spending time outdoors.
