About the Award Awarded to an undergraduate who has been accepted into the upper division classes of the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders with the intent to work with children. It is the hope of the Gorectke family that this scholarship will help another student reach their dream of becoming a speech-language pathologist. MACKENA HENDRIKSE Danielle Gorectke Memorial Scholarship Mackena loves working with people and being involved on campus through the Residence Hall Association, Cru, Big Brother Big Sisters, and other academic clubs. She is super excited for her future as a speech-language pathologist in a school district.
