Steven Blocher Memorial Athletic Training Scholarship
About the Award Friends and family of Steven Blocher established this award when Steven passed away in a boating accident the summer before his senior year. Steven excelled at tennis and was a civil engineering student that attended UWSP and then UW-Platteville. We remember Steven today with this award. Mckenna will graduate with her bachelor’s degree in health science this summer and begin her master’s degree with UWSP’s athletic training program. She has worked as a high school volleyball coach and hopes to work for a collegiate or NFL football team. Mckenna has earned academic honors during her undergraduate career and is interested in studying chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in football athletes.
