KELLY YEAKEY Fern Horn Memorial Home Economics Scholarship Katie is the president of the Stevens Point Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. She participated in the Beyond Your Borders Conference and is part of her residence hall’s leadership team. Kelly is an honors student who plans to become a certified teacher after graduation.
About the Award This scholarship is awarded based on academic ability, professional involvement, plans for home economics teaching or as work as an extension home economist, particularly in the Youth Program, competence as a classroom teacher or extension home economist, and when appropriate, service as a cooperating teacher for UWSP home economics education majors.
