NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS The following were particularly notable achievements over the course of the year: • Aidan, Brianne and Zachary won the award for best newcomer team at the International Chamber of Commerce Mediation Competition in Paris • Bradley and Hadley won the Wales Mooting Competition • Hailey and Alexandra placed fourth in the National Negotiations Competition, as the best Welsh team, and placed 4th out of 20 teams representing Wales in the International Negotiations Competition in Rome • Hadley and Emma finished 3rd in the National Client Interviewing Competition, as the best Welsh team and reached the semi finals of the International Competition • Hadley, Brianne, and Zachary won the PACT International Negotiation Competition • Megan and Connah reached the quarter finals of the Landmark Chambers Property Law Mooting Competition • Morgan, Brianne, and Aidan were ranked 4th in the UK Mediation Competition, as top scorers, with Morgan winning the award for best mediator. • Matthew and Chidinma were ranked 2nd in the negotiations category of the Mediate Guru Negotiation and Mediation International Competition • Brianne won the award for Best Mediator at the ODRC International Mediation Competition with Anna and Elenor reaching the quarter finals in the Negotiation part. • Emma, Hadley and Connah reached the quarter finals of the Mediate Guru Client Interviewing Competition • Megan and Leandrra won the Mediate Guru Virtual Negotiations Competition, beating 51 teams. Chidinma reached the top 8 of the same competition. • Vishesh, Naomi, Bradley, Hadley, and Joseph reached the quarter finals of IMLAM 2023 with Bradley winning a commendation for speaker.
