These changes enhance learning through increased movement, teach skills with new techniques, and build on basics. Helpful hints to make skating lessons fun • Participants should wear gloves and a warm sweater or jacket for lessons. Snow pants are very helpful to keep tots warm and dry. • Rental skates are available at Moody Park Arena. If you wish to purchase skates, please feel free to consult with one of our instructional supervisors for advice on what type is best for you. • Helmets are mandatory for all skating lesson participants.
