DR. LEVI WATKINS, JR. INSTITUTE TENNESSEE E STATE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL/DENTAL ACCELERATED PATHWAY PROGRAM
Established in 2020, Tennessee State University Medical/Dental Accelerated Pathway Program is designed for gifted students who are interested in pursuing the M.D. or D.D.S. degrees. TSU has a long-standing relationship in preparing students for professional careers. Students selected for this program will spend three years of study in the College of Life and Physical Sciences at Tennessee State University. The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology will be conferred upon successful completion of the undergraduate degree requirements at Tennessee State University. The Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) will be conferred after admission to and successful completion of the medical or dental program at one of our partnering medical institutions.
