■ High Life Highland has the highest average swim fee (£7.63), followed by Freedom Leisure (£6.39). ■ Parkwood Leisure has the lowest, with a £5.40 average per-swim fee. It is the only top 10 operator to charge less than the UK public sector average. ■ Compared to 2023, average pay-per-swim fees at GLL are +6.7%, SLM +8.8% and Freedom Leisure +11.3%.
■ As previously noted, the average pay-per-swim fee across the top 10 public sector operators is £6.07 in 2024. This represents a 7.1% increase on 2023, when the average fee was £5.67. ■ This compares to a UK-wide average of £5.59 in 2024, making swim fees across the top 10 operators 8.6% more than the UK public sector average. ■ All top 10 operators charge, on average, £5 or more for a swim.
