In late February of 2020 I was excited to open my very own art gallery in the sunny art mecca of Laguna Beach, California. I was 24 hours away from signing the lease when Covid broke out. Thank my guardian angel for that save! And, yes, there is always a silver lining... Now almost 2 years later, I have opened my gallery, not in a commercial space, but right here in my own home in Newport Beach. The Gallery also functions as my art studio. I love nothing more than being here, surrounded by my art, and being able to paint anytime, day or night when I get the creative urge More and more art is being sold online and the necessity of a commercial space is just not necessary. My art reflects many different personalities vs painting the same style again and again. Sometimes other galleries discourage this, For me, it is what keeps my work fresh. Abstract art is a never ending experiment on composition, color value, textures and mediums. God gave me this gift and I intend to use the WHOLE box of crayons! "There are gifts from God that are unexplainable. His gift to me is my eye for color, my love of color and the understanding of what makes one color dance with another. And when I say dance, I mean DANCE! My paintings become kaleidoscopes of changing patterns, textures and most importantly color. I swear if you put music to my painting, it would literally dance right off the canvas!"
