ROLE TITLE: Project Manager, Campus Services

• Improvement in the operations of our residential services ensuring we manage the student experience. • Increase revenue with our growth plans within the conferencing team.

budget estimations and implementation plans. • Assisting with the coordination, underlying analysis and production of accurate data driven and high-quality reports, analysis of risks and issues, dependencies and assumptions, communications, change control, workstream plans and finances. • Proactively track the performance of the project (risks, issues, time, quality, costs) and provide accurate and high-quality management reports detailing this information within agreed deadlines. • Review, update and maintain project related policies, procedures, and project methodologies. • Collate, review, and analyse project related information, making recommendations as to required action and when appropriate to implement agreed actions. • Help organise a programme of workshops to improve outputs and impact cases based on existing knowledge. • Support the Head of Campus Services with resourcing of projects and teams as they develop • Develop and maintain partnerships with third parties including vendors and partners.

REPORTS TO: Head of Campus Services

ABOUT The university is about to commence an exciting new chapter to change the way Campus Services are delivered to its customers. This brand-new position will provide project management of its ambitious programme of change and deliver key projects within the department. The Campus Services function is a strategic and outward looking team overseeing the delivery of commercial services comprising: Catering and Hospitality, Conferences, Residential Services, Sports Centre, Car Parking and Nursery. Over the next 2 years campus services will deliver: • A change in the way food and drink is provided on and off the campus to all customers. • The development of an ambitious sports and physical activity strategy.

The Project Manager will proactively manage these key projects and support the development of business and improvement plans.

ROLE PURPOSE At the University of Salford, we take pride in continuous evolution and the role of the project manager within campus services will support this, ensuring that plans are overseen and the over goals of all projects are delivered. RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for project governance by producing and maintaining detailed project plans, monitoring progress against plans, creating, and reviewing an action log with key stakeholders. • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scops,
