+ C211 is a stout boy with tremendous body! He tied as the 8 th top weaning weight bull of his crop! He has nice straight toes and I would expect him to stay real nice footed like his sire. Use him on heifers or cows. Save every daughter he makes! + Dam A147 was a first calf heifer with C211. + A147 is a full sister to the most recognized Hoover-bred cow, Erica of Ellston T220! + T220 has already put four bulls in the Alta bull stud, including BA7 Oaks Bold Ruler, the lead-off bull in the 2025 Alta Genetics catalog. Bold Ruler boasts a $Maternal and $Combined Value well above the best 1% of the breed! + A T220 son topped the 2023 Baldridge Performance Angus Sale at $100,000. + T220’s progeny grossed over $200,000 before she turned 4 years of age (10-fold gain on investment from the group’s purchase price of $20,000)! T220 serves as a working donor for several of the most progressive Angus herds in the country. + Grandam R96 is in a league of her own – she is the third consecutive Pathfinder donor cow in a row – an exceptionally rare find in the Angus breed today! + Despite stealing a flush after each of her first 3 calvings, R96 still achieved an amazing 356 day calving interval! This cow family exemplifies fertility. + Numerous R96 progeny have come to the top of their crop for phenotype, weaning weight and IMF. Her 2020 son was the #1 WW ET bull of his crop and went on to be the #1 yearling weight bull of our 2021 sale, where he was the Lot 1 featured bull and 3 rd top-selling bull of the event. The year prior, R96’s super stout son was the #1 IMF scanning bull of our sale. R96 records an impressive 19-109 IMF ratio. + R96 is the 3 rd top indexing cow in the Hoover herd with a whopping 5-111 wean ratio! R96’s 16 progeny to come to auction have grossed over $229,000! Eleven of her progeny have been photo features. + Pathfinder donor great grandam M38 was the highest indexing daughter of G366, the cow regarded as the best cow in our 97-year history! M38 was at one time the #1 indexing cow of the Hoover herd with the tremendous growth she puts into her calves. She served as a working donor until 11 years of age. + At 10 years of age, M38’s progeny and grand progeny led-off our 2023 sale catalog and included the 2 nd and 3 rd top-selling bulls! + M38 has been a fertile cow, recording a 355 day calving interval on her first 5 calves before we pulled her out of production for a year to flush her. She is an icon in the herd for her unbeatable depth of body and broodiness. She makes feminine daughters and masculine bulls. + Please read about fourth generation dam G366 in the box on page 7. Lot 5-15, 80- 83 and 86 bulls in today’s sale all descend from G366 – check them out and see pictures on pages 6-11 from this cow family.

+ I’ve had my eye on this stout boy since he was little – he’s been a good one all the way along! He is an excellent phenotype bull with a big hip, lots of muscle, natural fleshing ability and a slick hair coat. He’s attractive and super thick! + C104 is recommended for large framed heifers or cows. + Sire Hoover High Country was the $41,000 top-selling bull of our 2023 sale to Belvin Angus in Alberta. The standout of our crop, he was powerful, thick, and looked a lot like the two sons he sired in this year’s sale. High Country was the #1 adjusted weaning weight bull among his ET contemporaries, and among the whole crop, he came in second! + High Country’s flush sister was the #1 adjusted weaning weight heifer of our entire crop, and to the best of our knowledge, the 2 nd top weaning weight heifer in our history! She sold to Staci Mitchell of Matron Angus in our 2022 mini online sale for $11,500. + Another feature High Country son sells as Lot 16. + Dam X156 has a 358 day calving interval and may just earn Pathfinder honors this spring for her fertility and high performance she puts in her calves. Her first son was the 7 th top weaning weight and 2 nd biggest ribeye scanning bull of his crop and works for repeat customer Quentin Goodman. + X156 entered the donor pen last spring and will have some ET calves born this spring at Hoover Angus. We selected her for her superior udder and foot quality, fertility, and progeny performance. The picture of her above was taken this July about three weeks before weaning C104. + Grandam T195 is a low birth weight cow that has a 370 day calving interval that will shorten up to right about 365 days when she calves this spring. + Great grandam N16 has produced sons for Alex Swanstrom, Greg Fischer, and Tracy Shaffer. + N16 has a superior 364 day calving interval on her 9 progeny, showcasing her excellent fertility. N16 was a daughter of the great G366 cow. + This pedigree combines two of our most powerful cow families – the Miss Blackcap Ellston cows on the top and the Ericas on the bottom.
