+ T10 has a 363 day calving interval, and we have stolen flushes from her the past three years, and she still breeds right back. + T10’s progeny work for Steven Young, Glen Hanson (two flush brothers), Benz Eagle Valley Angus, Chad Heinert, Jonathan Ernst, and Russell & Sharon Kelley. The Benz bull was the 2 nd top YW bull of our entire 2024 sale. + T10’s only daughter in the herd weaned a 708 pound calf her first year and has a 362 day calving interval. + Pathfinder grandam P102 is a gentle cow with superior mothering ability. She is always right with her calf, and overnight, she puts her calf right in front of her nose. It’s a seemingly forgotten trait in today’s beef industry quest for “bigger and better”, yet maternal strength is very important for farmers and ranchers! + P102’s progeny work for Art Aberly, Roger Cerven, and Derek & Dresden Wulf, all repeat customers. Derek & Dresden’s bull was the #1 ribeye scanning bull of his crop with over 1.3” of ribeye per hundred pounds of body weight – that’s pretty rare! + Pathfinder great grandam C344 is the renowned working donor that has had quite a career at Hoover Angus! She has a long record of highly successful progeny, many of which were among the top weaning weight calves of their calf crop. I’ll try to hit the highlights here. + C344 maintained a 359 day calving interval on her first 13 natural progeny, which included stealing flushes 5 different years, a testament to her exemplary fertility! C344 was laid to rest at 16 years of age. Her udder was still impeccable, and her feet were still amazing. + We sold C344’s last large group of ET sons in our 2021 sale. She would have been 17 years of age if still living, and her sons averaged $7150! These sons went to astute cattlemen in three states plus Canada. She joined the elite $100,000+ club when her progeny sales topped that mark. + One daughter of C344 was the #1 adjusted weaning weight heifer of her crop. A natural calf of C344 was the 14 th top weaning weight heifer calf of her crop when C344 was 13 years old! + Pathfinder fourth generation dam V127 recorded 12-106 WR and a 362 day calving interval. She was a tremendously easy fleshing cow.

+ C71 is an attractive bull you will be proud to have in your front pasture! He has good capacity, is thick and muscular, slick haired, and has a super tight sheath. + Picture-taking day, C71 was calm and great to work with in the picture pen. Bulls this calm are hard ones to motivate enough to put their heads up nice and high! C71 ties as the 2 nd highest Docility EPD animal to sell today, and it’s for real! + We recommend him for use on cows. + C71 is the natural calf of donor dam T10 – one of my favorite cows on the farm! T10 is a beautiful cow with as perfect of an udder as you will find. + T10 was selected to be a working donor for her maternal trait strength – she has excellent fertility, optimal performance, superior foot and udder quality, and is quick to slick off her hair in the spring. She is a very gentle cow. + With the rather new Functional Longevity EPD, T10 fares well – among 579 Hoover- owned females on the report, she is among the best 20!
