+ B489 is a tank! He’s a high volume bull that is the type and kind you will want to save daughters out of! He has lots of meat in him and a classic Angus head. + B489 was the 5 th top weaning weight bull of his crop and had a really nice ultrasound scan! This high growth bull is recommended for use on cows. + Dam V143 is one of the most picture-perfect uddered cows in the herd, and comes from a long line of superior uddered cows! + Pathfinder grandam S227 is a superior uddered cow with a 367 day calving interval. + Great grandam L184 had great mothering skills and produced progeny for Michael Kusgen, Tom Tucker, Kyle VanHouweling, and Todd Glendenning. + Eight Pathfinders are found in this three generation pedigree, indicating great cow power!

+ B518 is a long bodied, clean fronted bull with a nice, long stride. I would agree with his foot EPDs; he has very nice feet. We recommend him for use on heifers or cows. + Dam X419 was a second calver with B518; her first son sold to Joe Lingenfelter. + X419 had a really nice set of performance data: BW 73 lbs., WW 730 lbs., WR 105, YW 920 lbs., YR 102, IMF 6.44, ratio 139, ribeye 11.6”, ratio 120. She was the 10 th top weaning weight, 2 nd top ribeye scanning female of her crop. + Grandam L63 was a beautiful uddered female who produced 4 progeny among the top 10 weaning weight bulls or heifers of their respective crops. One standout featured son hit the $12,000 mark, selling to long-time repeat customer Lyle Olson.

+ B481 is a big framed, really long bodied bull. We bought sire Athlete to add frame size and length, and this bull certainly exemplifies those qualities. + B481 offers the #1 Milk EPD in the sale as well as the 2 nd highest Heifer Pregnancy EPD among the bulls! + B481 offers a little different pedigree for the vast majority of our repeat customers and is recommended for use on cows. + Dam N490 is still going strong with a superior udder for her age and a 362 day calving interval on 8 calvings. She is among the oldest tier of cows at Hoover Angus, which means she has done what she needs to do each year to stay in the herd. + N490’s daughter works for repeat customer Jeff Graham and her son for repeat customer Howard Paulsen. Jeff’s heifer was the #1 IMF scanning heifer of her crop and Howard’s bull was the #1 weaning weight, #2 yearling weight bull of his crop! + N490 was a high performing female, weaning at 757 pounds, WR 109, YW 1039 lbs., YR 106. She was the 5 th top weaning weight and 4 th top yearling weight heifer of her crop! + Pathfinder grandam G431 has the rare honor of having two Pathfinder daughters – quite a feat for a non-donor cow! She was a beautiful uddered cow that ended her career with a perfect 365 day calving interval and a whopping 111 average wean ratio on her progeny! Four of her progeny were among the top 10 weaning weight calves of their respective crops.

Landi receives a text from Andrew with this picture and the following message: I’m finally using that gate opener you got me about 5 years ago!
