+ B494 is a long bodied, slick haired, good quartered bull that offers a well-rounded set of EPDs and indexes. + B494 is recommended for use on heifers or cows. His daughters are predicted to be easy calving too – he has the 2 nd highest CEM EPD in the fall bulls. + Dam T30 has produced progeny for Ralph Mills, Bill Archer and Cleary Farms. + Pathfinder grandam H115 – wow, what a cow she was – she recorded a perfect 362 day calving interval on her 12 calves, despite stealing four flushes throughout her life! She had a stunning record of production and fertility with 12-97 BWR, 12-108 WR, 10-106 YR, and an average 102 IMF ratio and 102 ribeye ratio. + H115’s 11 sons averaged over $10,000, five of which were photo features! + H115’s top son was the Lot 1, lead-off bull in our sale selling to Mohnen Angus for $26,000. This bull, Hoover Longevity T40, was easily the #1 adjusted weaning weight, #1 yearling weight bull of the sale at 911 pounds and 1546 pounds, respectively. + Pathfinder donor great grandam is the phenomenal C50 cow – regarded as the 2 nd best cow ever in production at Hoover Angus! The following is an extremely condensed version of her successes. At just a couple short months away from 17 years of age, we laid C50 to rest north of our bull barn, next to the other greats like CC&7, Gridiron, Bullseye, and G366. + Prior to holding C50 out of production for one year to flush her, she had a 363 day calving interval on her 13 natural progeny, which included stealing flushes 6 different years. C50 weaned her 14 th natural calf at over 16 years of age! + C50 was a superior uddered cow even into old age, and offered foot and structure quality rarely found. She grossed over a quarter million dollars in registered progeny sales. C50 has an amazing three Pathfinder daughters. Thirty-four sons of C50 have come to auction at Hoover Angus, more than any other cow in our history. Two stout, growthy sons sell as Lots 28-29. Lot 29 was the heaviest weaning weight bull of the entire spring 2024 Hoover crop!

+ B458 is a super slick haired bull for working well on fescue pastures – in fact, he offers one of the best Hair Shed EPDs in today’s sale! + B458 has a nice profile, nice extension through his front, and is super long. + This calm temperament bull is likely best suited for use on cows. + B458 had an impressive ultrasound scan – he was the 3 rd top IMF scanning bull, and he would be one of my top choices in the sale if you are feeding out your calves and selling them on the grid or retaining ownership in them. He has the top Marbling EPD among the fall bulls. + Dam V449 is a fertile cow with a 345 day calving interval on her calves. She’s a pretty gal just like her mother! + Grandam R199 is our favorite No Doubt donor cow! She produced the lead-off, top- selling bull in our 2023 sale at $41,000 to Belvin Angus Farm in Alberta. This bull, Hoover High Country, was the 2 nd top weaning weight bull of his crop, and a true standout. Two featured sons sell as Lots 15-16. + Selling last year in our sale was a feature R199 daughter going to Minnesota to Cole Sellnow and a really nice son to repeat customer Matt Rea – he always finds the good ones! + R199’s daughter was the top-selling female in our mini online sale in the fall of 2022, going to Staci Mitchell in Indiana. This female was the #1 weaning weight heifer of her crop and what I believe to be the 2 nd top heifer weaning weight in our history! + Four daughters of R199 work in the herd. R199 records an incredible 9-126 IMF ratio on her progeny! + Great grandam K317 worked in the herd until 11 years of age and had a perfect 365 day calving interval on her 10 calves!
