★ Ultrasound safe to Mead Mercury, due approximately March 18, 2025. ★ B115 is a super long, wide based heifer with a nice quarter and a calm disposition. This growthy heifer scanned a superior 1.2” of ribeye per hundred pounds of body weight! She has one of the top Ribeye EPDs of all the females selling. ★ Dam V482 is a low birth weight cow that has a 357 day calving interval. My calving book notes say she was very motherly her first year calving. V482’s first son works for repeat customer Dusty Goodman. ★ Grandam L474 has been retired, but put two replacement daughters in the herd and has nice sons working for Nate Britz and Steve McKay, both repeat customers. ★ Great grandam G417 served as a working donor and achieved the amazing feat of three of her daughters (by three different sires) earning the Pathfinder honor. This is extremely rare!

★ Ultrasound safe to Mogck Empire 110, due approximately February 18, 2025. As Empire calves can come short gestation, we recommend B189 gets to her new home shortly after our sale. ★ B189 is a moderate-sized heifer that won’t ever get too big. She has a nice quarter and will look a lot like her pretty mother. B189 has a well-rounded set of EPDs and is sired a little differently than most. ★ B189 is a calm disposition heifer with one of the top Docility EPDs in the bred heifers selling today. She also has the #1 Heifer Pregnancy EPD of any animal selling today! ★ Sire Wrangler, owned by Alta Genetics and Abernathy Ranches, was used natural service at Hoover Angus. He is a calm bull that offers a balanced EPD profile, an attractive profile and sound structure. ★ Dam S128 is definitely more moderate framed than most No Doubt cows, and a superior uddered cow. Her first daughter works for Kevin Ross, and he is very pleased with the four spring bred heifers he purchased in our sale last year! ★ Pathfinder grandam was retired after 11 calves at a 365 day calving interval! ★ Pathfinder donor great grandam is the phenomenal C50 cow – regarded as the 2 nd best cow ever in production at Hoover Angus! The following is an extremely condensed version of her successes. At just a couple short months away from 17 years of age, we laid C50 to rest north of our bull barn, next to the other greats like CC&7, Gridiron, Bullseye, and G366. ★ Prior to holding C50 out of production for one year to flush her, she had a 363 day calving interval on her 13 natural progeny, which included stealing flushes 6 different years! C50 weaned her 14 th natural calf at over 16 years of age! ★ C50 was a superior uddered cow even into old age, and offered foot and structure quality rarely found. She grossed over a quarter million dollars in registered progeny sales. C50 has an amazing three Pathfinder daughters. Thirty-four sons of C50 have come to auction at Hoover Angus, more than any other cow in our history, and her last two stout sons sell today as Lots 28-29. Lot 29 was the heaviest weaning weight bull of the entire spring 2024 Hoover crop!

★ Ultrasound safe to Mogck Empire 110, due approximately February 22, 2025. ★ B201 is a nicely made, good quartered, long bodied heifer with a real nice ultrasound scan. Be ready to take her home soon after the sale as the Empire calves can come early! ★ B201 offers one of the highest Docility EPDs of all the females selling today! ★ Dam V237 is a nice uddered, fertile cow with a 358 day calving interval on her four calves. Her heifer calves have weaned off at an average 686 pounds, and her son was one pound away from that 800 pound mark. ★ Great grandam M314 weaned her 10 th calf this year, and she has a perfect 365 day calving interval on those 10 calves! She has put three replacement daughters in the herd and is one of the calmest cows of the herd. ★ M314 is a rare find – she and her dam and grandam have all earned Pathfinder honors! Great cows here! ★ We hope our footnotes show the importance we place on longevity in our cow herd. The “old” proven cows like M314 lay the foundation of our herd. They don’t have the shiniest EPDs, but they have proven their worth the old-fashioned way.

Weekly EPD Updates The American Angus Association runs National Cattle Evaluation (NCE) EPD updates every week. Non-parent animals with no data being submitted will see very little EPD change on a weekly basis. Visit www.angus.org/ Animal/EpdPedSearch.aspx for the latest available EPDs.
